Boiler door gaskets
Boiler door gaskets provide sealing between the lid and the body on boilers, ovens, tanks and pressure vessel doors. They are used in applications that must withstand high temperatures, steam and repeated opening and closing.
Material and size selection
The operating temperature, pressure, the medium in contact and the dimensions of the lid channel determine the choice of material. At high temperatures, silicone, which can be used between -60 °C and 200 °C, stands out; for hot water and steam applications, EPDM-based gaskets are preferred.
