Engine, hood, fender and cowl seals
This product group covers rubber profiles that reduce vibration at engine hood, fender and cowl joints, soften contact between body parts and limit the passage of water, dust and noise. They are used on tractors, construction machinery, commercial vehicles and custom body applications.
Selection criteria
Consider the sheet thickness or channel dimension the profile will sit on, the compression allowance when the hood is closed, and the temperature and oil exposure in the engine area. EPDM can be considered for resistance to heat and weathering, and nitrile compounds for points exposed to oil. You can identify the right product by matching the catalog code to the cross-section of your existing seal.
